Generation College Community Group

The college-age community group for Generation Ministries will begin this Sunday night, January 10th, at 6pm. It will be held at Lauren Austin's house in Atascocita. If you have previously attended the college service at Lonestar College - Kingwood, we encourage you to come be a part of this new group.

We are hoping that through this gathering we can bring together college age guys and gals to eat, build relationships, worship, and discuss Scripture together. This is something brand new to us, and since community is something that is usually assumed and not a reality in many places, we hope to build something raw and authentic.

Come hang out with us this Sunday at 6pm!

GENERATION CHRISTMAS PARTY 2009!

Here is the information on the Christmas Party this Friday!

When: Friday, December 18th, at 7pm.
Where: The Holmes' House in Huffman (419 Vista Del Lago, Huffman, TX 77336) - see map below for directions.
WHAT?: Generation Christmas Parties are awesome gatherings where we all come together at a house and simply have fun with each other. If you bring a dish to this party, your name will be entered into a raffle to win a gift card. There will be tons going on and tons to do. If you haven't yet spent time at the Holmes' house... you need to. It is wonderful!

CHANGES FOR GENERATION COLLEGE MINISTRY!

Generation College Mission will be changing locations next semester starting January 10th, 2010! We will be meeting at Lauren Austin’s house in Kingwood/Atascocita. We will be hosting our new “Community Group” there every Sunday night at 6pm! We are hoping that through this gathering we can bring together college age guys and gals to eat, build relationships, worship, and discuss Scripture together. This is something brand new to us, and since community is something that is usually assumed and not a reality in many places, we hope to build something raw and authentic. Please continue to check out our news website for more updates as we get closer to our launch date and continue to pray for this endeavor.

Bring a friend!!
If you bring a new guest with you tomorrow night, BOTH YOU AND YOUR FRIEND will receive a gift from us to you! Yes, right from the hearts of the Generation staff. So grab a friend from school, work, taco bell, whatever, and get them to service on Wednesday. Both of you head to the information booth to get your gift!

Mexico Dinner 2009
We will be selling tickets to our Mexican Fiesta that will be taking place on December 6th at 6pm. Tickets are $15 each. Support those going to MEXICO this December! One day, you will need the support too! There will be amazing Mexican food, tons of entertainment, a silent auction, and all sorts of fun. Bring your parents, your baby sister, your pet ferret, and anyone else you can fit in your car and head to the church this Sunday night. Tickets will be on sale at service both Wednesday & Sunday.

See You At The Pole is TOMORROW!!

See You at the Pole™ is a student-initiated, student organized, and student-led event. That means this is all about students meeting at their school flagpole to pray—for their school, friends teachers, government, and their nation. See You at the Pole™ is not a demonstration, political rally, nor a stand for or against anything. See You at the Pole™ is scheduled annually on the fourth Wednesday in September, which is September 23 in 2009. The suggested starting time is 7 a.m. If that doesn't work for your school, choose a time that will work for your school, but let everyone at your school know!

It is going to be a our annual football tournament, so anyone from the area can get involved in it. All you have to do is make sure you come to a Generation Service the Wednesday or the Thursday before that way we can get you signed up or your team signed up. POWERHOUSE PRAYER

TONIGHT from 7pm - 10pm, we will be praying in the Generation Ministries sanctuary upstairs at New Covenant Church. Once a month, we gather together as a ministry for a substantial time of prayer to truly find ourselves humbled in the presence of God. We sacrifice one of the most "social" nights of the week to devote time to worshipping God and making our petitions known before Him. That He may be glorified in everything that we do.

Life group is considered the most important element of our ministry because it is how we have chosen to follow the commandment to make disciples. We have an amazing group of trained leaders that will walk you through each week's sermon and talk about life application.
